How verification works
Verification is the foundation that every other Allura feature compounds on.
The Allura verified badge:
Hover or tap to see which register the listing was verified against and the holder ID we looked up.
Onboarding check
When a clinic is added — whether they sign up, claim an existing listing, or we pick them up via scrape — we require a register name and a register ID. We cross-check that ID against the live UK register and store the evidence trail.
Re-verification
Save Face, JCCP, GMC and GDC scrapes run weekly. If a holder is suspended, deregistered or cited, we flip the regulatory status, hide the listing pending review, and surface a public regulatory note where warranted.

- CQCCare Quality Commission registration for clinics in England.
- NMCNurses, midwives, nursing associates.
- GPhCPharmacists and pharmacy premises.
- HCPCAllied health professionals (e.g. paramedics, psychologists).
- Save FaceVoluntary register for verified non-surgical aesthetic practitioners.
- JCCPJoint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners — voluntary practitioner register.
- BAAPSBritish Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons membership.
- BCAMBritish College of Aesthetic Medicine membership.
- RCSRoyal College of Surgeons fellowship and credentials.
URL integrity
Every URL on every provider profile is checked nightly with a HEAD/GET fetch. Broken or mismatched links surface in our admin queue immediately.
